Summer at Excalibur Gymnastics 2008

This summer Excalibur Gymnastics will be offering a weekly summer camp.  Registration will begin immediately. All of the programs are detailed below, but if you need further information call the office at 499-8258.  We reserve the right to cancel camps that do not fill.  You may sign up your child for as many weeks as you like. Full payment is due with the registration. A $25 registration fee will be charged for all gymnasts not registered yet this year. The registration fee is good for one entire year.  The weeks the gym will have camp this summer are listed below.

Week 1 June 23rd – 27th
Week 2 July 7th - 11th
Week 3 July 14th – 18th
Week 4 July 21st - 25th
Week 5 July 28th – Aug. 1st **
Week 6 Aug. 4th - 8th
Week 7 Aug. 11th – 15th

Registration Form

 Full day or Half-day Programs

Full day programs will run Monday through Friday, from 9:00 – 4:00 for ages 5 and up. The gymnasts will receive gymnastics instruction on each Olympic event, as well as our 20 foot tumble trak and two in-ground foam pits.  They will do arts and crafts, dance, yoga, games, movies and other great activities appropriate to each “Theme Week”. Gymnasts are dropped off at 9:00 am with a lunch, dressed in gym clothes and are picked up at 4:00 pm. Extended hours include early drop-off at 8:00 am, late pick up at 5:00 pm, and super late pick-up at 5:30 pm. Call the office for any additional charge information. AM and PM snacks will be provided.

Cost - $185 per week
 


Half-day programs runs from 9 – 12 or 1 - 4 Monday through Friday. This program includes gymnastics instruction on all Olympic events, including the use of our 20 foot tumble trak and 2 in-ground foam pits, as well as arts & crafts, dance, yoga, snack and will follow our “Theme Week” Schedule.

Cost - $130 per week

 

Summer 2008 “Theme Week” Schedule

Week 1: June 23rd – June 27th
“Lost in the Jungle”

You’ll go Ape over our jungle theme week of gymnastics, arts & crafts, games, movies and other wild activities.  Come monkey around with our safari guides and finish the week with an animal of a surprise!

 

Week 2: July 7th – July 11th
“All Sports Week”

Excitement abound! Enjoy the thrill of all sports week.  We believe that gymnastics is the foundation for all other sports.  So, you’ll find it easy to pick up wiffle ball, basketball, football, frisbee and much, much more!

 

Week 3: July 14th – July 18th
“Beach Blanket Bingo”

Ride the waves thru this week of fun in the sun.  We have everything from gymnastics to beach volleyball, sand art to water slides and more beach balls and sunglasses than we know what to do with.

 

Week 4: July 21st – July 25th
“Pirates week”

Argg!! All mates aboard for this high seas adventure.  Spend this week doing gymnastics, meeting our parrot friend, creating your own pirate gear and finish the week with a souvenir tattoo.  Help find the buried treasure or walk the plank.

Week 5: July 28th – August 1st
“Science and Nature”

See what you can create during this imaginative journey through space and exploration.  While learning what makes our bodies capable of doing gymnastics, we’ll further our skills.  We will also build our very first Excalibur Gymnastics garden and even go on an out of this world field trip.

 

Week 6: August 4th – 8th
“A trip to the Olympics”

Come experience the Olympic dream from opening ceremonies to awards.  With gold medals for all, your torch will light when you see how much fun you’ll have at this week of gymnastics.

 

Week 7: August 11th – 15th
“Mystery Week”

You’ll never guess what this week will bring! And we’re not going to tell.  You’ll have to show up to find out.  Whatever the activity may be, you’ll have a great time doing it!  Keep the mystery alive and join us for what we have in store.  You won’t want to miss it!
